Language school Qingdao, International House

Our partner school is located in the district of Laoshan, 15 minutes away from Qingdao city centre. This district is famous for its beaches: white sand, clear water… Old Man’s Beach is without a doubt one of the most beautiful in the city. The language centre is housed in a building that is especially designed for teaching. In one of the 16 light and well-equipped classrooms, qualified teachers will teach you Mandarin. An exciting activity programme will be offered after lessons.

Residence
In Qingdao, you will have the opportunity to stay in a residence on the school grounds. Accommodation is in a single room and breakfast is included. The bedrooms are well-equipped (fridge, TV, Internet access). On request, if you are two people travelling together, it is possible to take a double room.

The city has a range of historical treasures for you to explore (churches, buildings, parks, etc.) Once you finish the city tour, you will be glad to walk on the sand of one of the six beaches that the city has to offer. Liaoning, birthplace of Taoism, is only 40km away. You will discover this marvellous landscape of over 400km2 travelling on a telpher railway that will lead you to its temples and waterfalls. You can also see with your own eyes China’s most spectacular monument: the Great Wall.
