Our partner school is ideally located in a residential area in a lovely group of recently constructed buildings, which is behind the Bund, at the heart of the old French districts. Right beside the school, therer is a charming Chinese garden. The school has a qualified, plurilingual staff. There are 20 classrooms and the school has good multimedia equipment and Internet and WiFi access for students' use.

Accommodation

Shared apartment
Our partner school offers students the possibility to live with other international students in a shared apartment during their stay in Shanghai. You will live around 30 minutes away from the language school and will stay in a single room with no meals provided. You will share a kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, TV and telephone with your flatmates. The apartments are air-conditioned and are cleaned every week.

Private apartment/Studio (from 18 years)
The school also offers the possibility to stay in a private apartment or studio. Both of these accommodation options have the same facilities as a shared apartment.

Host family
It is also possible for students to live with a host family during their stay in Shanghai. However, if students wish to opt for this type of accommodation, they are required to be at intermediate level in the language. Places are also limited. The families generally live around 60 minutes away from the school and students stay in a single room with no meals provided, but do have access to the family kitchen for preparing their own meals. Leisure

Fans of gardens and lotus flowers will appreciate the “Yu Yuan Garden”, its bridges and red pagodas surrounded by ponds, or its merchant galleries, their rooves adorned with dragons, a symbol of good fortune. There are a number of large art galleries, each as beautiful as the next. So you love history, legends and architecture? Then visit the “Jade Buddha Temple”, the city’s most venerated Buddhist temple. For gifts and souvenirs, don’t miss the “Yuyuan Gardens Bazaar”. And if you want to buy something really special for yourself, take a helicopter flight or a cruise on the Huangpu River. Whatever activities you choose, you will dive partly, deeply, passionately into the great history of the city and the country.
