School

Our partner school overlooks a beautiful park located close to Brisbane’s central station. 24 very comfortable classrooms fitted with data projectors and interactive whiteboards provide the setting for your English classes. The lounge opens onto a terrace where students can meet up to have lunch or a drink and chat. On this very terrace, the teachers also run special activities that encourage students to interact and communicate with one another. There are computers available in the 2 computer labs and the student lounge includes a ping-pong table and a Wii in order for you to chill out after or between the lessons together with the other international participants. You can prepare or warm up your meals in one of the two shared kitchens in the course centre. The school also includes two covered patios – ideal meeting places for students - and provides free Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the building.
The ILSC Brisbane school is specialised in IELTS, TOEIC and Cambridge exams preparation courses and offers a wide range of thematic elective courses.

Accommodation

Host family
Host family accommodation is an unbeatable option to discover your destination from the inside. The inhabitants who receive foreign students have been chosen by our partner school for their friendliness and hospitality, so you’re in for a warm “Aussie” welcome. You will be staying in a single room and sharing the bathroom and common areas with the other family members – it is a chance to practise English as you learn it ! You will receive half board accommodation and take advantage of this opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the daily life of Brisbane’s inhabitants.

Leisure

The activities’ programme offered by our partner language school in Brisbane is full of interesting proposals but its originality resides in the interactivity of its extracurricular workshops. Indeed, the school organises relaxing workshops to help students improve their pronunciation, their knowledge of Aussie words and their vocabulary through music, and also runs a newspaper club, etc. – perfect to have fun while learning! You will also have the opportunity to go bowling, join in the “Happy Hour” with your new friends from the four corners of the world and attend a conference given by an expert marine. At weekends, you will have the chance to do a cruise, go on an excursion to Stradbroke Island, to Byron Bay or to the city of Brisbane under the guidance of local guides who will be happy to show you their favourite spots. Cherry on the cake: whale watching - an incredible experience!
