Learn English beside the Coral Sea and Great Barrier Reef! Our ACE partner school in Cairns enjoys a beautiful location and is situated in the city centre, close to bars, restaurants and the marina. The language school is housed in an air-conditioned two-storey building and has 11 classrooms. Extra facilities include a large computer room with free Internet, and large outdoor balconies, where students can go to relax with their new friends during breaks and after classes. Accommodation

Host family
Living with a host family during your stay in Cairns is an excellent way of discovering the Australian lifestyle and will allow you to practise English outside of class in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere. The families are carefully selected by our partner school and are located around 10 to 45 minutes away from the language school building. You will stay in a single room with half board during the week and full board at the weekend, and will share the common rooms with your host family.

Cairns is a real paradise for those who love sports and outdoor activities: diving, excursions to the surrounding hinterland, visits to the Chillagoe caves and safaris in the tropical forest, sailing boat cruises, horse riding, tennis or golf… the choice is vast and you are certain to find plenty to do in your free time. Our partner school’s “Boomerang Club” also offers you an excellent programe of social activities so that you can practise your English outside of classes and get to know the other students: nights at the movies, table tennis tournaments, fishing, BBQs at the Lagoon, parties in the Courthouse…everything you need to make your stay in Queensland unforgettable!
