In the very heart of Surfers Paradise, on the most famous shopping street and 5 minutes' walk from the beach, our partner school has an ideal location! In addition, all public transport lines are nearby. The course centre occupies the 4th and 5th floor of a modern building and its furniture is rather stylish. Internet access is free via WiFi. A library allows you to carry out research and in the multimedia centre, the students have access to the computers of the centre. The teachers teach English in an interactive and committed way in 14 classrooms. A student lounge invites you to relax after classes. The numerous cafés, restaurants and shops in the surroundings will allow you to immerse yourself in the very particular lifestyle of the Gold Coast. Live with an Australian family! You will stay in a single room and will have breakfast and the evening meal with your hosts. Living around 30 minutes by public transport from the school, you will experience the daily life of the family who welcomes you in the pure tradition of Australian hospitality and in this way, you will make solid progress in English. You will share the bathroom and the common rooms of the accommodation with the members of the family. This is the most popular accommodation option amongst students.

Leisure

Every week, the language school proposes an activities programme in order to allow the students to discover the surroundings and to get to know the other participants. At any time, the beach is only a stone's throw away for relaxing or practising various sports (surfing, volleyball, diving, jogging, football, etc.). Excursions, parties and cultural activities are on the programme proposed by the school. The Gold Coast has countless assets and possibilities to entertain you, dazzle you and allow you to discover a surprising world!
Whether you visit an animal sanctuary in order to be able to stroke a koala or you participate in a beach volleyball tournament - all of the activities are very well organised and offer the ideal setting for meeting new people and practising English. Some excursions are at an extra charge.

Thomas Pierdomenico I definitely enjoyed my course at Embassy! The teachers are great and the lessons really motivated me to study. I was level Pre-intermediate when I arrived and reached level Post intermediate at the end of the course (so I went up two levels). Usually, students were very friendly and I made friends with people from the four corners of the world. As to Australian people, wow, these people are nice and chilled, what a difference!
In order to practice and hear correct English, there is nothing like a nice host family. Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast area are really beautiful.
As regards the school, another positive aspect is that there are not many European students (students are mostly from Asia, Brazil, South America in general) and few of them speak French so it is ideal to practice English since you have no choice … haha
