Leisure

All types of water sports are on the program: sailing, fishing, swimming, jet-skiing, water skiing, rowing, kayaking, diving and surfing. You can also go horse riding, or hire a bike and ride to the small neighbouring villages to discover open-air markets or art galleries. Fraser Island is not to be missed. It is the world’s largest sand island (120 km), with not a single tarred road. You explore it by 94-wheel drive, crossing the magnificent sand dunes that are shaped by the winds. It is also covered with forests and has some 200 lakes. For those wishing to make contact with civilisation, Brisbane is only 160 km away.
