Our partner school is located on the campus of the University of Western Australia, on the outskirts of the city of Perth. Magnificent gardens, playing fields, a covered sports hall and a cafeteria with an impressive choice of dishes make up the very pleasant environment of your English classes. A multimedia centre allows for individual research and work and a large Library is also available to students. The classrooms are spacious and bright. In a computer lab, more than one hundred computers can be used. The auditorium allows for the projection of films or theatrical performances and the media centre gives access to all sorts of documentation. From the campus, you reach Perth or Freemantle in only 15 minutes by train and in 5 short minutes, you are at Cottesloe Beach. You can walk to the very lively district of Claremont in order to have a coffee or to do some shopping with the other international students.

Accommodation

Host family
It is by staying with a host family that you will make the most out of your language study stay in Australia. You will be permanently surrounded by people speaking English who will put you at ease in situations of everyday life. Carefully selected by our partner school, the families propose a single room with half board during the week and full board at the weekend. The bathroom and common rooms are to be shared with the members of the host family. Generally speaking, the families are situated from 20 to 60 minutes by public transport from the course centre.

Residence

Beatty Lodge
Approximately 9km from the course centre and only two kilometres from the centre of Perth, Beatty Lodge offers a pleasant and safe environment for a more independent language study stay. Single and double rooms are available, all with bedlinen and towels provided, a TV, a ventilator and heating. An equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare your meals in the company of other international students. Internet access via WiFi is possible at the reception where there is also a shop with a small stock of useful merchandise. A swimming pool embellishes the whole place and a table football table will allow you to spend nice moments in the company of the other residents. A paying laundry room is also available.
