Language school Sydney Centre, Australian College of English (ACE)

The new course centre of the ACE English language school is situated at Wynard Green, on York Street, at the heart of Sydney's business district (CBD). The campus also includes other schools, like the Australian College of Applied Psychology and the ACL Sydney English Centre, which will allow you to meet a multitude of Australian and international students. Right beside the Wynyard Green metro station, our partner school gives you easy access to the surrounding areas. Only a stone's throw away, you will be able to visit the Opera House, the Rocks and Circular Quay. The school is also close to the famous Queen Victoria Building and only a few minutes' walk away from Hyde Park, the Pitt Street shopping centre and the magnificent bay of Darling Harbour. The language school building is modern, spacious and especially designed in order to study in the best conditions. The school contains 12 bright classrooms dedicated to English classes, 2 conference rooms, a large library with computers, a reading corner and study room, as well as a WiFi connection in all of the common rooms of the school. During breaks and after English classes, the student lounge (equipped with a fridge and a microwave) is a place where you can meet up with your friends to eat, but also to plan your free time and chat.

Host family
Staying with a host family is an excellent way of discovering the Australian way of life and will allow you to practise English outisde of class. The families are carefully selected by our partner school and are located around 30 minutes away from the language school building. You will stay in a single room with half board during the week and full board at the weekend, and will share the common rooms with your host family.

Thanks to the “Boomerang Club”, our partner school offers an excellent programme of social activities. Almost every day of the week, you will have the chance to participate in at least one sporting, social or cultural activity. Among the regular Boomerang Club activities you will find football, visits to the Opera House, dolphin and whale-watching, bush walking and weekend-long excursions to discover an extraordinary region, not forgetting, of course the memorable parties organised by our partner school!
