Our partner school is situated ten minutes away from Airlie Beach, which can be reached by a bus which travels the length of the beach. Between a tropical forest and the ocean, the campus offers spacious and bright classrooms. Other facilities available for students' use in this modern college include a cafeteria, a library and a computer room with an Internet connection. In addition, the building is surrounded by magnificent gardens which offer a relaxed atmosphere.

Accommodation

Host family
The school personally selects the most suitable host families for its students. You will have your own room, and share the other rooms and facilities with the family. Breakfast will be provided for you, as well as a packed lunch and a hot meal in the evening. You will discover the Australian way of life. The locals are warm and open and getting to know them will help you to discover the Australian way of life and to progress in your English.

Furnished apartments
The school also proposes accommodation in furnished studios and apartments, available for those who want more freedom and to organise their own daily routines as they wish. It is also possible for students to stay in youth hostels. Prices and further information available on request.

Leisure

At the Whitsundays college, Fridays are dedicated to activities. Film screenings, beach volleyball competitions, barbeques and guided tours of the town are some examples of the activities that are offered free of charge. Other excursions of one, two or three days' duration are also organised for you to discover sailing, diving or kayaking. An outing on the clear turquoise waters of the neighbouring islands is also on the programme. In the Whitsundays you can swim all year round. It is an ideal place for scuba diving and snorkelling, but you can also try jet-skiing or parachuting, skydiving, golf or horse riding.
