School

In the heart of the old town and a few minutes' walk away from the old port, the ILSC school in Montreal proposes to you to learn English, but also French, in a lively and stimulating environment. It occupies the third floor of an historical building which has been superbly renovated. The course centre has 35 classrooms with a view to the outside, two multimedia rooms and a quiet room. It also includes several common rooms and Internet access placed in various places in the school. Between the two cafeterias and the numerous restaurants and cafés close to the coruse centre, you will be spoilt for choice for getting something to eat. After classes, you will be able to enjoy yourself on St. Paul Street, famous for its shops, or else visit the multiple museums of the city.

Accommodation

Host family
Canadian families are known for their warm welcome and for making their guests feel right at home. Host families live in the city’s residential areas, which offers a certain quality of life, but which means having to use public transport to get to the school. Students stay in single rooms and have half board or full board provided. This option is ideal for immersing yourself in the Canadian culture and for practising English in all of the situations of everyday life. It's also the opportunity to make friends for life in Canada. For more flexibility, it is also possible to book accommodation without meals included. In this case, you can still use the family's kitchen.

Residence, apartment, hotel
Other accommodation options in residences, shared or private apartments or else in hotels are also available.

Testimonial

Cécile Meslay My holiday in Montreal was amazing!!! As far as I’m concerned, life in Montreal is incredible: it’s a city that never sleeps, a music heaven, perfect for young people and a town where anything is possible… my summer in Canada was unbelievable. The people I met, trips, teachers (funny and friendly), evenings, life in a family where ten other students were staying (a fantastic Erasmus-esque atmosphere!) all made saying goodbye difficult! Thanks for everything!!!
