Hi! My name is Johan and I’m from France.

I am a student in political science in Paris and I needed to improve my English and take the IELTS exam in order to be able to study in the USA. When I arrived at the British Study Centres school, I didn’t feel very confident about myself and my English skills but here, everything is designed to encourage students: the lessons are interesting and progress is valued. The teachers are excellent and BSC organises many activities in order to allow students to meet. Located in the centre of London, the school building is thoroughly modern and in the computer room, students can surf the Internet. What’s more, there are many restaurants, pubs and shops just 5 minutes’ walk from the school.
The accommodation options are excellent. Together with other students, I stayed with a host family and we had a great time together.
Besides, as far as I am concerned, the more people I meet, the happier I am! I was therefore impressed by the large number of nationalities represented and I met many new people from diverse backgrounds. I now think I have progressed towards my IELTS exam and I am confident I can pass it and achieve a good grade!

As an engineer, English is important not only in my daily work but also when I’m sent abroad for a project. In this case, I felt the need to improve my English to be more fluent in everyday situations. Staying 3 weeks in England is obviously the best way to achieve this.

BSC is a very good school. Everything is brand new, the classrooms are big and clean, there are computers available for the students. The teachers are very friendly. Forget the courses you have had during college, here the courses are absolutely not boring: sometimes we play a game, sing a song or go outside to practice what we have learned with people walking in the main street. The communication between students and teachers is excellent. I feel always free to ask a question whenever I need.

And the staff is very friendly and helpful. They plan an extracurricular activity everyday. The school is located in the city centre. Personally, I love to be in the city centre, it’s very convenient. E.g.: during lunchtime, all the students can grab a sandwich and go together to the central gardens to enjoy the sun (which it’s not that unusual than expected!)

And for the weekend, I suggest you to make your backpack and set off for Cornwall. The landscape is breathtaking and it’s the best place in England for surfing! Enjoy!

Hello my readers! My name is Tolga but everybody here call me TJ. I'm normally from Turkey but I live in Switzerland since I was born. I'm in an apprenticeship as a Logistics Businessman. I have to phone with people all over the world, so I decided to improve my English here in Bournemouth at British Study Centres, because the most spoken language in the world is of course English.

I was searching for a place, where I can learn English and also to have a great time for six months. Fortunately I found the best place that I ever could find.

Bournemouth is a beautiful City right on the sea and with a lot of schools, universities and of course parties! The best school here is British Study Centres. It's right in the middle of the City and near to everything like banks, restaurants, park, beach and shopping centres.

I'm learning perfect English every week from Monday to Friday, with a lot of fun with my friends and teachers. We're like a family. And at the weekends, we're doing every night special events and parties all together.

There's just one problem! The time is running out faster than everything. My three months are already gone but with full of funny and best memories. So don't stay just in front of your computer and think about how you gonna do this trip. Stand up and get ready for a time with a lot of new experiences and meet hundreds of new friends from all over the world. I promise you! You won't forget such a great time!

My trip to Bournemouth was a very rewarding experience. The town is welcoming and it will sweep you off your feet in just a few days. The atmosphere is great, it is very peaceful here but you can enjoy numerous leisure activities, including ice skating and a wide range of typical activities from the area, and it is difficult to choose from all these possibilities. The school is very good too. At BSC I had a great time, I met many people, I travelled… The classes were pleasant and the teachers made them fun. One day I will go back to Bournemouth for a language study trip – there is no doubt about it – and I hope this will be as great and unforgettable an experience as this one.
