Our partner school Embassy gives you the opportunity to study in a brand new building entirely dedicated to learning English in the heart of Brighton. A first in Britain! Completely modern, this place gives you the possibility to learn English and to live in a friendly and studious environment. Located just a stone’s throw away from Brighton train station, this ultra-modern language centre consists of four floors containing 62 classrooms and a further five floors of accommodation. Everything is designed to enable you to learn English in the best possible conditions: library, bookshop, private study rooms, cafeteria, common room, cybercafe with 50 computers. The entire building is equipped with WiFi, access is free and a pleasant garden provides a good place to meet and relax during breaks or after lessons.

Accomodation

Host family
Living in a host family is an excellent opportunity to live like a real Briton and to discover the Sussex culture. The school takes full responsibility for finding and selecting the best host families for students. Located about 30 minutes away from the school, you will have your own room and will share facilities and other rooms with the family. Accommodation includes half-board and the ample contact that you will have with your hosts will help you to progress with your oral expression.
Residence
The ultra-modern building that houses our partner school contains 375 private en-suite rooms and WiFi Internet access on the fifth and top floor. There are also some shared rooms with a bathroom and living room available on each floor. Supervisors are available 24 hours per day to help you with any problems or questions. Whatever your dietary requirements (vegetarian, Halal, etc.) you will be able to eat all of your meals in the spacious and light cafeteria with two different atmospheres: on the bottom floor is a cafe serving coffee and snacks and on the top floor there is a restaurant. If the weather is good, you can also take advantage of the interior courtyard and soak up some sun.  

Leisure

Our partner school in Brighton has an extensive programme of excursions and activities, particularly in summer. You will be able to go on excursions to surrounding famous places such as Stonehenge and Alton Towers. If you are a sports fan, you will have the opportunity to play football, tennis or even volleyball. Your desire to take in some new culture and to get to know the surrounding area can be satisfied with the famous Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, numerous cultural outings to museums, theatres or the cinema, or if you want to let your hair down, visits to pubs, discos or concerts at the Dome or the Komedia. Weekend excursions are also on offer to Canterbury, London or even Oxford. If you wish, the school’s activities organiser can also help you to plan your own trips.
