Our partner school Embassy CES proposes studying in a brand new building entirely dedicated to English learning at the heart of Brighton. Located just a stone’s throw away from Brighton train station, this ultra-modern language school building consists of four floors containing 62 classrooms. Everything is designed to enable you to learn English under the best possible conditions. There is a library, bookshop, conference room, student lounge with TV, cafeteria and an Internet café with 50 computers. In addition, the entire building is equipped with a WiFi connection (free) and a pleasant garden provides a particularly favourable place to meet and relax during breaks or after classes.

Accommodation

Host family
Living in a host family is an excellent opportunity to discover the English culture from the inside and it also allows you to practise your English with native speakers on a daily basis outside of class. You will stay in a single room with half board provided. The host families, which are carefully selected by our partner school, generally live around 20-45 minutes away from the school.

Residence
Our partner school has 375 single rooms with a private bathroom on the same site as the school available to students. Some shared bedrooms are also available. Bedlinen is provided, a cleaning service is guaranteed each week and a laundry room (paying) is available for students' use. In addition, you benefit from half board (Mon-Fri) and will be able to have your meals in the spacious cafeteria with two different atmospheres. Downstairs, a café serving drinks and snacks and upstairs, a restaurant. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the interiour courtyard to relax in the sun.

You will be able to go on excursions to surrounding famous places such as Stonehenge and Alton Towers. If you are a sports fan, you will have the opportunity to play football, tennis or even volleyball. Your desire to take in some new culture and to get to know the surrounding area can be satisfied with visits to the famous Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, numerous cultural outings to museums, theatres or the cinema, or for more of a party atmosphere, visits to pubs, discos or concerts at the Dome or the Komedia. Weekend excursions are also offered to Canterbury, London or even Oxford. If you wish, the school’s activities coordinator can also help you to plan your own trips.
