Language school Bristol, OISE

Located in the vibrant centre of Bristol, only a few minutes' walk away from the seafront, our partner school was founded in 1986 and occupies a former wine warehouse, which has been refurbished in a comfortable and functional way. This characteristic building brings together a superb mix of traditional architecture and contemporary interior decor within its walls. During breaks, the students will be able to make use out of the modern cafeteria or go to relax at the port. The OISE Bristol school gives many quality language courses and shows much seriousness in the development of lessons with a dense content. The numerous facilitate allow for easier learning of the language. These include 10 classrooms with technological resources such as televisions with DVD/video players and CD/tape recorders. In addition, there is a large library wth a wide choice of books, CD-Roms, audio tapes, CD and DVDs which are available to students in order to obtain information supplementary to their classes. A computer room offers the possibility to access the Internet on the computers installed for this reason as well as finding there a variety of language support programmes. WiFi access is available throughout the building. The course centre is accredited as an exam centre for the TOEIC and BULATS exams.

Host family
Staying with a host family is an excellent way to practise English outside of classes and to discover British culture from the inside. Our partner school carefully selects the families and you will stay in a single room with half board provided around 25-40 minutes away from the school by bus.

University residence (July and August)
Our partner school offers accommodation in university halls of residence, right in the centre of Bristol and 5 minutes’ walking distance from the course centre and urban amenities such as shops, restaurants, cafés and bus stops. Each apartment consists of 5 to 6 single rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and two showers/toilets. Cleaning is done once a week. Linens and towels are provided but the students are responsible for washing them. Wi-Fi Internet access is available in each room free of charge.

Our partner school, OISE, proposes a rich and diverse activities programme. Outings to the theatre, cinema, excursions in the city, visits to museums, a pub evening, a talk on history or literature...Bristol is proud to welcome you to discover its great passion for culture. On the other hand, the city offers its visitors a peaceful atmosphere, as you will find numerous large green areas and large avenues to be explored without moderation!
