School

Our partner school is located in a beautiful 1820s-style house, which has been recently renovated and is very well-equipped. There is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor, which acts as a cafeteria. The school is in the centre of the historical part of the town. It is relatively small and therefore benefits from a friendly, family atmosphere, ideal for making friends and for asking academic questions. There are 6 well-equipped and bright classrooms and a resource centre with computers with Internet access.

Accommodation

Host family
Living with a host family is a unique opportunity to get the most out of your stay. Being constantly immersed in the English language and culture allows you to make rapid progress. Families offer half-board, which is also very advantageous when calculating your weekly budget.

Residence (18-28 years)
EC also proposes the accommodation option of staying in a residence. Students stay in single or double rooms and share the common room, such as the kitchen, living room, bathroom and laundry room, with each other. The residences are located approximately twenty minutes' walking distance or by bus away from the school and are equipped with a WiFi connection.

Leisure

A varied program of activities is offered each week. It’s a great opportunity for students to get to know each other better while discovering the different places of interest in the town and the region. Sport also occupies an important place, for those wishing to take advantage of the numerous possibilities that Cambridge has to offer. Trips to London, either in a group or individually, are easily organised.
