School

Our partner school in Chester, founded in 1976, is the only language school in the town which is open throughout the year. The school has its premises in 3 buildings in Stanley Place, two minutes' walk away from the town centre. The students will find all of the facilities and comfort necessary for learning English, including 12 classrooms, a language lab, a independent study centre and a computer room with free Internet access. In addition, there is a WiFi connection throughout the school. After classes or during breaks, you can meet up with your friends in the café, the student lounge or on the patio for a moment of relaxation.

Courses

Intensive course
Lessons: 28 of 45 minutes
(20 general + 8 options)
Options:
preparation for TOEIC or IELTS exams, Business English, grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension, oral/written expression, pronunciation,
role plays, reading etc.
Course duration: 2 to 48 weeks
Levels: Elementary to advanced
Students/class: max. 12 students
Minimum age: 18 years (17 years on request)
Daily schedule: 09.30-13.00 and 14.15-15.45 (4x/week)

Preparation for Cambridge exams (FCE, CAE, CPE)
Lessons: 30 of 45 minutes
(20 general + 10 FCE, CAE, CPE)
Course duration: 10 weeks
Levels: Intermediate to advanced

Accommodation

Host family
This is the ideal accommodation option for total immersion in the language. The families, which are carefully selected by our school, generally live around 20-30 minutes by foot or by bus away from the school. Students stay in a single room with half board during the week and full board at weekends provided. If you are travelling with another student, you have the possibility of requesting a double room. Accommodation with a host family will allow you to discover English culture from the inside and to practise the language in a friendly environment.

Leisure

Our partner school proposes a nice programme of optional activities. In this way, you will be able to participate in numerous excursions at reduced prices, including trips to North Wales, the North of England, York, Bath and its Roman baths or even Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. Visit the Alton Towers theme park or participate in a guided visit of Chester, during which you will learn about its history and the secrets of its numerous small streets, unless you would prefer to go on a tour of the town's pubs! Sports lovers will also be kept happy: between football, cricket, golf, hockey, horse riding, swimming or tennis, there's really something to suit all tastes!
