Our partner school is located in the heart of the city and close to its attractions. It is surrounded by gardens and in this way, offers an ideal setting for students between the calm of nature and the liveliness of the city. It occupies a magnificent renovated 19th century building on a quiet street. The course centre has 14 classrooms including good teaching/learning support equipment. The learning pace is intensive thanks to the mini groups of a maximum of 6 students per class. The course centre also has a study room, a computer room, a kitchen and free Internet access throughout the building. In the school, everything has been thought of in order that you may relax between classes. You have large gardens, outdoor relaxation areas, a student lounge with a wide-screen television and two terraces – ideal for having barbecues and meeting other students – at your disposal. And in order to let off steam, you will be able to play volleyball, football or petanque outside the course centre. Tea and coffee are offered to you free of charge throughout the day.

Accommodation

Host family
A very popular option, accommodation with a host family represents an excellent way to combine the discovery of British culture with the practice of English. By sharing meals with the family and their daily life, you will have the opportunity to make good use of the language knowledge acquired in class. You will stay approximately 30 minutes away from the school on foot in families carefully selected by our partner school. Staying in a single room, you will benefit from full board.

Shared apartment
On the same campus as the school, you will be able to share an apartment with 2 to 3 other international students. In an equipped kitchen with a seating area, you will concoct small dishes in the company of your flatmates, You will stay in a single room, will share the bathroom and will have free WiFi Internet access. In order to wash your laundry, there is a laundrette across the road which you can use. Bedlinen and towels are provided.

Leisure

Practising the language whilst enjoying yourself! Such is the objective of our partner school, which puts together a programme of the most varied activities each week. When it comes to sport, football, tennis, water skiing, horse riding, swimming, bowling and squash will be on the menu. On a cultural level, Exeter is not outdone either. A visit of the city and of the monuments such as the cathedral, the discovery of the Roman ruins, boat trips on the River Exe, traditional cooking classes and a tour in the footsteps of Agatha Christie will also be foreseen. Excursions to the surrounding cities such as Plymouth, Bath, Bristol, Oxford and even London will be on the agenda as well as a visit to Dartmoor National Park. Music, dance and theatre festivals also take place regularly in the city. There's no risk of getting bored in Exeter!
