Our partner school is located in the heart of the city and five minutes' walk from both central train stations and bus station. On the second floor of a modern-style building, the course centre includes 8 very well-equipped classrooms. In the computer room, computers connected to the Internet are at the disposal of the students and multimedia programmes available for consultation support the classes. Internet is available free of charge throughout the building. A variety of books, CDs and DVDs are made available. The school regularly provides newspapers and magazines that you will be able to read in the common room equipped with a vending machine for hot drinks and a cold water dispenser. The excellence of its courses and the quality of the teachers bring this language school to the very foreground in the teaching of English to foreigners in Glasgow. Accommodation

Host family
Within a Scottish host family, you will practise English every day and will progress quickly. In addition, the daily contact with the inhabitants of Glasgow will enlighten you on the customs and lifestyle of the residents of this characterised region of the United Kingdom. In a pleasant and safe districts, at a distance of approximately 30 minutes by public transport from the school, the host families provides a single room, shared facilities on a half board basis. The school maintains close relations with the host families and are visited on a regular basis in order to ensure a reassuring setting to the international students.

Residence "Beersbridge Annex" (from 18 years)
Our partner school proposes to you to stay in a residence located 20 minutes by bus from the course centre. You will occupy a single room with a private shower and will share the kitchen with 4 or 6 other international students. Bedlinen is provided, and the same goes for free Internet access. You will be able to use the paying laundry room and will have a secure bicycle parking area at your disposal. It is an excellent option for more independent participants.

Residence "Victoria Hall" (from 18 years)
In this residence recommended by our partner school, you will occupy either a single room or a double room. A private shower and satellite television as well as a free Internet connection are part of the equipment. A twenty-minute walk is all it takes to get to the school. In the common kitchen, you will be able to prepare your meals in the company of the other international students. Bedlinen is provided and a paying laundry room is at your disposal.

Leisure

The school encourages linguistic exchange between the various participants by organising extra-curricular activities accompanied by the English teachers. Every Monday afternoon, students and teachers meet and chat over a cup of coffee at the "Coffee Club". Amongst the other possibilities on offer, you find a museum visit in order to view the fabulous Burrell collection or an excursion to Pollok Country Park, ice-skating in the city centre or a visit to The Lighthouse, the famous museum of design and architecture in Glasgow.
Full-day excursions will allow you to discover a whisky distillery or Millport, an island located off the turbulent west coast of Scotland. A boat trip on Loch Lomond or a bus outing to The Trossachs, a wooded valley which has inspired numerous poets and authors through the beauty of its natural setting, will also be included in the programme. And finally, there will be impromptu visits in the various districts of this fascinating city!
