School

Only a stone's throw away from Liverpool's dynamic city centre, our partner school welcomes you in a magnificent Georgian-style building. The school is served well by public transport which gives you privileged access to everything Liverpool has to offer, including sport, music, culture and surrounding landscapes. Small and pleasant, LSE is a school where you can learn and make friends easily. On leaving one of the 15 classrooms, take the time to get to know the other students in the adjacent garden. You will also have the possibility to revise the material covered in class in the study room or to communicate with your close ones by Internet, available in the two multimedia suites and in the common room. In order to get to know even more students, take a step into the university district of Liverpool. A place overflowing with life, filled with bars and young people, giving you many opportunities to speak English at complete ease. During the months of July and August, some classes are also given in the classrooms of John Moores University, only 5 minutes away from the course centre.

Accommodation

Host family
One of the best ways to immerse yourself in the English culture is to stay with a host family. This will also allow you to speak and practise your English daily outside of class in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere. Host families are carefully selected by our partner school and generally live around 20-30 minutes away from the language school by public transport. You will stay in a single room with half board provided.

Residence Cathedral Gate (from 18 years), minimum stay 3 weeks
The residence, which is located ten minutes' walk away from the school, is occupied as much by the participants in the language courses of our partner school as by the students of the University of Liverpool. it is therefore a nice opportunity to get to know young British university students. Situated in the heart of the city, with an uninterrupted view of the cathedral, the accommodation allows you to reach the main attractions and shops, bars and restaurants of this lively district in only a few minutes on foot.
Living in a house with 4 to 5 single bedrooms, you will share the equipped kitchen, the bathroom and the laundry room with your housemates. In the houses for 4 people, a living room is available. There is a television in each house, Internet is accessible by cable and at an extra charge. A cleaning service passes once a week.
