The modern premises of our partner school are located in the heart of Manchester, on the sixth floor of a new and comfortable building. It has large and bright classrooms and in the multimedia centre, you will find all you need to do some research and strengthen the language knowledge you have acquired with your competent and experienced teachers. The library provides books, magazines, CDs and DVDs. In a space dedicated to relaxation, the international students will find vending machines for snacks and drinks. Internet access is available via Wi-Fi. In the busy Portland Street where Kaplan is located, restaurants, bars and shops create a dynamic setting and allow you to immerse yourself in the life of this bustling university town after class.

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family constitutes a unique opportunity to make the very most out of your language study stay by putting the English you have learned in class into practice on a daily basis. Our partner school proposes to its students to stay with host families who are carefully selected and live around 45 minutes away from the course centre. The students live in a single or double room and benefit from half board.

Shared apartment (from 18 years)
In order to practise English in a relaxed atmosphere, the ideal thing is to stay in a shared apartment. The school proposes to students to stay in the "Liberty Living" residence, 10 minutes away from the school and only a stone's throw away from the city centre and all its attractions. The students have a single room and share the bathroom, equipped kitchen and living room with 4 other students. Bedlinen is provided and a laundry room is also available for their use.

Leisure

Manchester is a bustling university city. During their free time, students will be able to go for walks, go shopping in the fantastic shops of the city centre and visit the city's numerous museums and galleries. In addition, sports fans will discover the atmosphere of the stadiums by supporting the two teams of international renown, Manchester United and Manchester City. The school also organises numerous activities, including a visit to the Manchester United Football Club Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, a concert at Bridgewater Hall, disco evenings. In addition, during the weekends, the students will have the opportunity to visit Liverpool, to go for a picnic in Heaton Park and to enjoy the spectacular view over the whole city from the Manchester Eye.
