Our partner school, International House-Newcastle, has just moved to a brand new premises, refurbished for the optimal comfort of its students from the four corners of the world. A traditional school (founded in 1978, it is the second oldest school of the International House group, after that of London) which is turned towards the future, it can welcome up to 450 students in excellent conditions. With a total surface area of more than 1,200 m2, our partner school has around twenty classrooms, modern bathroom facilities and access for disabled persons. A computer zone makes computers with free Internet access (WiFi) available to students and the large and comfortable student room, with TV and DVD, can be used for holding parties. A cafeteria proposes hot and cold snacks in an ideal setting for meeting the other students. The school is located a the heart of the city, a stone's throw away from shops, theatres, museums, restaurants and pubs. A team of qualified and motivated teachers awaits you, assures you an excellent personalised follow-up and has very good teaching material at hand.

Accommodation

Host family
All families selected by the school live around 15 minutes away from the language school building and offer you accommodation in a single room with half board provided. This is perhaps the best way to get the most out of your stay as you will be completely immersed in the English culture and language. You can also chosse the option 'without meals', and meet up with your friends in the city to eat.

Shared apartment "Charlotte House" (from 18 years)
Only five minutes away from the school, three, four or five students share one of the apartment made available by "Charlotte House". This is a dream opportunity to make friends from across the globe, knowing that each student has his/her own bedroom in which they can study or get away from it all at any time. The students share a kitchen, living room and bathroom.

Residence "Quay Point" (available from 17.07.2010 au 04.09.2010)
Our partner school in Newcastle proposes to you to stay in a residence for students located close to public transports and the city centre - an ideal location which allows students to reach the city's animations easily. In the "Quay Point" residence, you will stay in very comfortable single or double rooms. The bedrooms include a private bathroom, a desk, a telephone, a television and a WiFi connection. During moments of relaxation, you will be able to prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen or chat with the other residents in the common lounge. The residence includes a 24-hour surveillance system and a digicode. A laundry room is also available to students. Some apartments are especially fitted out for people with reduced mobility.
