You will study English in the heart of Oxford, on one of the city’s most prestigious streets, just opposite the famous university colleges of Balliol and Trinity. Our partner school is housed in a magnificent stone building, the interior of which has been recently renovated to provide an optimal setting for your studies. The staff are welcoming and the classrooms are bright and comfortable, offering an uninterrupted view over the rooftops of this illustrious city. A library, relaxation room and high-tech computer centre complete the school’s facilities. For relaxing after class or during breaks, the large and comfortable student lounge is the place to watch television or a film, read the newspapers or chat with your new friends over a coffee.

Accomodation

Host family
Sharing the daily life and experiences of an English family is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the British culture and practise your English, outside of the classroom, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Located in Oxford’s residential belt, about 40 minutes from the school, you will have your own room, including a desk for your studies, and share breakfast and dinner with your host family.
Student residences (from 18 years of age)
For those wanting more independence and the opportunity to meet other students, the school offers accommodation in student residences. The first residence is ideally located in the city-centre, five minutes from the school on foot. Students stay in double or single rooms with a private bathroom, and share the residence’s kitchen. A common room with a TV and VCR is also available. The residence is equipped with washing machines. Sheets are provided, but you will need to bring your own towels. A second residence is located about twenty minutes from the school, offering accommodation in individual rooms with private bathrooms. It provides the same facilities as the first residence.

Leisure

Our partner school in Oxford offers an animated program of excursions and activities: you can join regular outings to visit the country’s most famous spots – from Stonehenge to Alton Towers -; sports fans will also have numerous opportunities to play football, tennis or volley-ball. Between the Ashmolean museum, the Sheldonian theatre, Brasenose College, the Museum of Natural History, Bodleian’s six million works and the city’s eight centuries of history, you are certain to find something to satisfy your thirst for culture and superb walks. For going out with your friends at night, you will be spoilt for choice among the many excellent theatres and cinemas and numerous bars and restaurants of this eminently student city. And if London tempts you, hop on a train and in hardly an hour you will be in the heart of the city!
