The school was founded in 1966. It is located in the heart of Dublin, near the famous Trinity College and close to the pedestrian area with its numerous restaurants and shops. The main building has a pleasant atmosphere. It was built in the 18th century and the interior has been renovated. In summer, the school has extra classrooms available in a building nearby. The Language Centre offers advanced teaching in a motivating atmosphere, directed towards allowing students to discover the country's culture. The school has 24 classrooms, a study centre, a library, a language lab, videos, cameras, computers with Internet connection, a cafeteria and a living room.

The families are situated outside of the city centre, around 20-40 minutes by public transport away from the school, in residential areas such as Blackrock (to the south), Castleknock (to the west) or Clontarf (to the north). They are selected with care by our partner school and provide you with a single room and half board.
Shared apartment
The school has a residence situated in the south of Dublin, around 15 minutes away from the school by bus. This residence has apartments for single or double use, with, in addition to the bedroom, a living room, a fitted kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a television and a radio.

Leisure
The Language Centre of Ireland organises diverse leisure activities: tours of the city, concerts, theatres, cinemas, conferences, bowling and football. Other activities are more related to the country and its culture: traditional dance, greyhound and horse racing. Excursions to the region's most interesting destinations are organised during some weekends.
