Accomodation

Host family
Staying with a host family is an excellent way to improve your speaking skills while discovering the lifestyle of the inhabitants. Families are located outside of the city-centre, within a 5 to 10 km radius, in typical suburbs such as Blackrock (in the south), Castleknock (in the west) or Clontarf (in the north). All the families are chosen with great care and undergo regular checks. The journey from the school takes between 20 and 40 minutes, by bus or by train.
Apartment/studio
The school has a residence with single or double room apartments. Each apartment also has a lounge room, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a television and a radio. The residence is located in a southern suburb of Dublin and is well served by public transport (it’s about 15 minutes by bus to the school).

Leisure

The Language Centre of Ireland organises diverse leisure activities: tours of the city, concerts, theatres, cinemas, conferences, bowling and football. Other activities are more related to the country and its culture: traditional dance, greyhound and horse racing. Excursions to the regions most interesting destinations are organised for the weekends.
