Our partner school is a small and friendly English school with an emphasis on quality teaching. Situated in Gozo, twin sister of the island of Malta, the school has an ideal location in the countryside, 5 minutes' walking distance away from Kercem and 20 minutes' walking distance away from Victoria, the island’s main city. The language school is air-conditioned and contains 8 classrooms. English lessons take place in small groups (maximum 12, 8 on average) allowing teachers to give maximum attention to each student. In the common room, the school provides a small area for individual study and some computers for students' use. An outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a sun terrace will allow you to relax during breaks or after classes.

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family will allow you to make the most out of your stay in Gozo. All families are carefully selected by the school and are located around 30 minutes away from the language school building. You will stay in a single room (double room during the summer) with half board provided. This offers you a unique opportunity to get to know the culture from the inside and to practise your English on a daily basis in a friendly atmosphere.

Residence
Located only 5 or 10 minutes' walking distance away from the school, this large house with a garden and terrace proposes 6 single bedrooms. The students share the common rooms such as the living/dining room, the kitchen and the bathroom. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided and are changed once a week. Close to the residence, you will find two small markets, a sports club, a restaurant and a small bar.

Private apartment - sea side
The school also offers the possibility of staying in apartments to students who would like to be more independent. Situated only two minutes away from the beach, they all consist of a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, a TV, a telephone and an Internet connection.
The apartments are situated around 45 minutes' walking distance, 20 minutes by bicycle or 25 minutes by public transport away from our partner school. During the summer, a bus service is put in place by the school for the apartments.

Leisure

Gozo is a dream setting for learning English while making the most of your free time. From Qala Point to that of San Dimitri via the bays of Marsalforn and Xlendi, Malta’s twin sister contains an abundance of treasures. Marvel at its impressive archaeological remains, dive in its paradisiacal marine beds, relish its delicious Maltese cuisine and enjoy an evening out with friends in the warm atmosphere of its taverns. Whether on foot, by bicycle, on horseback or by boat, the island of the nymph Calypso is a joy to discover.
