Founded in 1972, our partner school is housed in a magnificent historical building, located on a calm street beside the University of Auckland. Located only a few minutes' walking distance away from the city centre, this school has a very good reputation and is close to all conveniences, such as public transport, restaurants, cafés, boutiques, cultural institutions and leisure facilities. The school has 28 spacious classrooms, two multimedia rooms with DVDs, CD-Roms and audio equipment as well as free Internet and WiFi access, and a language lab. During breaks and after classes, students can go to relax in the student lounge, go to the cafeteria or admire the view from the terrace on the top floor.

Host family
Make the most out of your experience in New Zealand by living with real "kiwis"! You will discover the local way of life as well as having the opportunity to practise your English on a daily basis. You will stay n a comfortably furnished single room and will have half board provided (full board at weekends). You will need to make a journey of 30-45 minutes by bus to get to the school.

Shared apartment "Empire"
The school also proposes accommodation in the "Empire" residential complex. Located around 15-20 minutes away from the language school building, these modern apartments each consist of three single bedrooms. You will share the bathroom, kitchenette and TV lounge with your two flatmates. The complex also contains a restaurant, a café-bar, a small gym, a swimming pool as well as a laundry room. On the practical side, bedlinen is provided and the apartments are cleaned every week. On request and with a price supplement, it is also possible to stay in an individual studio apartment (other services are identical).

Underwater and extreme sports are very popular, or perhaps you would rather give yourself over to relaxation and stroll through the city’s numerous grassy parks. Auckland is very busy by day and by night. Its restaurants, bars and nightclubs will provide you with unforgettable evenings out. As part of its intensive program, the school offers afternoon activities and organises regular outings and parties. On the weekends, excursions are proposed to discover the region (Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Coromandel etc.).
