Founded in 1972, our partner school is housed in a magnificent historical building, located on a calm street beside the University of Auckland Business School. A few minutes on foot to the city-centre, this school has a great reputation and is close to all conveniences: public transport, restaurants, cafés, boutiques and institutions of culture and leisure. The school has spacious classrooms, two multimedia rooms with free Internet access and a language lab. The common areas are welcoming and well equipped, and the outdoor terrace offers a beautiful view over Auckland harbour.

Accomodation

Host family
Make the most of your experience in New Zealand by living with real “kiwis”! You will have the opportunity to discover the local way of life and practise your English daily. You will stay in a comfortably furnished single room, with breakfast and dinner provided daily. This option also allows you the advantage of being able to calculate your food budget for the length of your stay. You will need to allow between 20 and 40 minutes by bus to get to the school.
Unilodge residence
Unilodge is a residence offering accommodation in furnished apartments and studios. It is located in the heart of the city, close to public transport, supermarkets and a few minutes from the school on foot. With a swimming pool, barbecue area, terrace, film projection and games room, as well as a gym, the residence offers all the conveniences that a student could desire. Plus every bedroom has its own bathroom, a television, Internet connection (at a cost), a microwave oven and a small refrigerator. The studios also have their own kitchenette. Towels, sheets and cooking utensils are not provided, and must be brought by the student. 

Leisure

New Zealand offers a wide range of sports and cultural activities. Underwater and extreme sports are very popular, or perhaps you would rather give yourself over to relaxation and stroll through the city’s numerous grassy parks. Auckland is very busy by day and by night. Its restaurants, bars and nightclubs will provide you with unforgettable evenings out. As part of its intensive program, the school offers afternoon activities and organises regular outings and parties. On the weekends, excursions are proposed to discover the region (Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Coromandel etc.).
