Our partner school is located at the heart of Port Elizabeth, 10 minutes by bus away from the beaches. The students will be able to enjoy the numerous cafés, pubs and restaurants of the city centre and of the "Boardwalk", a fashionable district of the city. The course centre offers a community environment, a family atmosphere where everyone knows each other from the first day onwards. During the breaks, the students will be able to relax on the terrace of have a coffee in the kitchen of the school. A wireless system and computers are also available to students.

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family is surely the best way to practise your English, because you will have the opportunity to talk naturally on a daily basis. You will stay in a single room with half board provided. The school proposes families who live near the main attactions of the city and you will be able to get to the school by bike or by bus (the bus stop is 30 metres away from the school).

Shared apartment
Our partner school also proposes living in a shared apartment. You will stay in a single room and will share the common rooms with your flatmates. Staying in a shared apartment is a very good opportunity to meet international students as well as young South Africans. The apartments are located in the area of Humewood/Summerstrand. A shuttle bus which bring you to the school in 10 minutes.

Leisure

Numerous activities are proposed by the school. Port Elizabeth is the capital of water sports. You will therefore be able to go surfing or diving in dream spots. And what would you say to going whale watching? In order to discover the splendid nature of Africa, there's nothing better than a safari or an excursion to the Kragga Kamma Game Park (nature reserve...The "Big Five" (elephants, rhinoceros, buffalo, lions and leopards) wait you. Your camera is a must!
