School

Located right in the city centre, our partner school occupies the 6th floor of a modern building, close to public transport connections, as well as numerous shops, cafés, restaurants and boutiques. The language school building contains 22 very well-equipped classrooms, as well as a multimedia resource centre with TV, video equipment, audio material, computers, Internet and WiFi access available for students to use after class.

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family offers numerous advantages to students. It is not only a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the American culture, but it also allows you to practise your English daily in an authentic and motivating environment. The families are carefully chosen by our partner school and generally live around 30 minutes away from the language school building in residential areas of the city. You will stay in a double or single room with half board provided. Student are recommended to use a bicycle to get to and from the language school from their accommodation. There are numerous possibilities to rent or to buy bicycles on-site.

Residence "Green Island Inn" (from 18 years)
For students who wish to have more independence during their stay, there is also the possibility of staying in a student residence, which is siuated aound 15 minutes away from the language school. The residence consists of apartments, which can be used by one or two people. Students stay in single rooms and meals are not provided. Each apartment has a bathroom, fridge, microwave and TV and within the residence, students also have the shared use of a swimming pool and barbecue equipment.

Leisure

Fort Lauderdale is in an ideal location for those wishing to discover the different regions and attractions of Florida, and who want to enjoy the beach and the ocean. Each week, the school proposes a programme of activities with an emphasis on sports, tours and parties. These social activities will allow you to practise the language while at the same time meeting other students from around the world. It is also easy and inexpensive to rent a car and visit other places of interest. Miami is close by, as is Epcot Centre, Disneyworld, the Everglades, Kennedy Space Centre…
