Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family offers numerous advantages on a linguistic, cultural and financial level. Students stay in double or single rooms and families provide 2 meals per day. Comfortably housed families generally live in the residential zones. The journey to school may take over half an hour. We recommend that students get a bike (many possibilities to rent or to buy), which is without doubt the most suitable means of transport for the climate and distances in Fort Lauderdale.

Residence "Green Island Inn" (from 18 years)
This residential complex enjoys a central location close to the school (about 20 minutes by bus) and offers accommodation in studios or apartments for individual use. They are all equipped with a private bathroom, a kitchen, a TV, a telephone, a safe. Bedlinen and towels are provided and there is a cleaning service twice per week and a laundry room (paying) is available for use. Students also have access to a shared kitchen, BBQ equipment, a pool table and a swimming pool which they share with each other.

Leisure

Fort Lauderdale is ideally located for those wishing to discover the different regions and attractions of Florida, and who want to enjoy the beach and the ocean. Each week, the school proposes a program of activities with an emphasis on sports, tours and parties. These social activities will allow you to practice the language while at the same time meeting other students from around the world. It is also easy and inexpensive to rent a car and visit other places of interest. Miami is close by, as is Epcot Centre, Disney World, the Everglades, Kennedy Space Centre…

Testimonial

Sue Kwon I chose to study in Fort Lauderdale as I always need the sun, and Florida is one of the great areas with burning sun. There are great places to hang out, especially the 'Riverfront' which has cinemas, pubs, clubs and nice but inexpensive restaurants. It is not as noisy as other big cities, so I'm sure that it is the perfect place to study in.
