School

Our language school in Los Angeles is located in the beautiful district of West Side, on Wilshire Boulevard. The school is close to Beverly Hills and a few miles from the beaches Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun after your English lessons. The language school has well-equipped classrooms. In the language laboratory (equipped with WiFi) you can access the Internet and audio/video material free of charge. When you add to this the motivating English lessons, a friendly atmosphere and the magic of L.A., you will be in the optimal environment for learning English.

Accommodation

Host family
Host families are carefully selected by our partner school. They generally live in residential areas, at an average of 30 minutes away from the school. It is easy to get to school by bicycle or by using public transport. You will stay in a single room with half-board provided.

Claremont Hotel
A second accommodation option, which is more expensive but located only 10 minutes away from the school, is the Claremont Hotel, decorated in its original 1930s style. Located at the very heart of Westwood Village, it is only a stone's throw away from restaurants and shops and offers single rooms (double rooms for two people travelling together) with a private bathroom, TV and air-conditioning. The rooms are cleaned daily. There is a WiFi connection available in the lounge room and café corner, where there is also a fridge and microwave for your use.

Leisure

In Los Angeles you can discover the Californian universe that has come to form an integral part of our imaginations: trips to Hollywood and Disneyland are both day excursions organised by the language school ELC. The beach isn’t far away, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine after your English lessons. Sports enthusiasts can play beach volleyball or go cycling, jogging, skating and all sorts of activities. From a cultural perspective, Los Angeles has a world-class arts centre and a lively music scene with something to suit all tastes.
