Our partner school, Kaplan Aspect, has its premises in a modern building at the very centre of Portland, on the western shore of the elegant Willamette River. The course centre has 5 modern and bright classrooms and is fully equipped with facilities to allow you to learn English in optimal conditions, including a computer room with free Internet access, a WiFi connection throughout the school and numerous pedagogical software programmes available in the language lab and a library. With a kitchenette, vending machines for snacks and drinks, a TV and comfortable couches, the student lounge is an ideal meeting place during breaks or after classes, whether it be for eating or relaxing, you will be able to spend pleasant moments here with your new friends. After your English classes, you will have everything at hand, including the central library, numerous cafés and restaurants, cinemas, exciting museums or even, in order to let off steam. the banks of the Willamette and the large green spaces of Washington Park, all within easy reach of the school. Host family
The dream opportunity to live like an inhabitant of Portland by sharing in the daily life of an American family. The accommodation in a host family is ideal for students who wish to immerse themselves in a different culture. Communicating on a daily basis with your host family will help you to develop your oral expression in a warm and friendly environment. The host families in Portland are carefully selected by our partner school, Kaplan Aspect, in order to offer you a safe and welcoming environment to stay in. You will stay in a single or double room with half board provided and you will need to allow for between 30 and 60 minutes in order to get to the school.

Residence (from 18 years)
Our partner school also proposes staying in residence during your language study trip in Portland. You will stay in a single room and will share the common rooms with the other international or American students. Meals are not included but you will have access to a kitchen where you can prepare meals on your own or with the other residents. Kaplan Aspect proposes 3 different residences. Close to Portland State University, the "Cambrian" and "Clay"  residences are less than 10 minutes' walking distance away from the school and the comfortable "Goose Hollow Plaza" residence is around 20 minutes' walking distance away from the school and is easily accessible by public transport.
