The school occupies the 17th floor of a large, modern and air-conditioned building offering an uninterrupted view of the city. Located in the heart of San Diego’s city-centre, our partner school is only a few minutes on foot from the Horton Plaza shopping district and the historic area of Gaslamp, with its numerous international restaurants and music clubs. The 16 classrooms are spacious and comfortable, the computer room allows you to access the Internet free of charge and you can take advantage of the student lounge to relax and get to know your new friends over a coffee.

Work experience placement
Following the completion of an Intensive language course of at least one month's duration, Embassy CES offers you the option of undertaking a period of unpaid work experience.
Duration: 4 or 8 weeks

Accomodation

Host family
Host families offer accommodation in single rooms with two meals provided daily. They live in the city’s residential areas, about 20 minutes from the centre of town. They have been selected by our partner school to offer you a warm welcome in the best conditions.
J Street Inn residence
This residence offers double rooms in a beautiful part of the city-centre, 20 minutes on foot from the school. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom as well as a TV, a microwave and a small refrigerator.

Leisure

The school organises beach volleyball tournaments, basketball and football, as well as offering a wide range of water sports. Themed entertainment evenings are also organised for students in order to encourage friendships in an international atmosphere. On weekends, students can participate in various outings and excursions. Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Los Angeles are offered regularly and, for something different, it’s also possible to visit Tijuana, the first town after the Mexican border.
