Our partner school LSI is very well located in the heart of San Diego, close to boutiques, restaurants, public transport and other services. Attractions such as the zoo, the Symphony Hall and bay are accessible on foot. The school is modern and well-equipped, with 12 spacious and bright classrooms, as well as a computer room with nine computers allowing free Internet access. If you have a laptop you can take advantage of the WiFi connection. The student lounge is ideal for meeting up with your friends to chat and relax after classes and during breaks.

Leisure

The geographical location of San Diego, in the south of California and beside the Pacific, offers numerous opportunities to those who enjoy outdoor or water sports. The school offers a wide variety of leisure activities such as surfing, scuba diving (with mask and tube) and sailing, as well as evenings at the beach, concerts or even parachuting. Most of these activities are very reasonably priced and sometimes even free of charge. Excursions are also organised to discover Los Angeles, Las Vegas or the Grand Canyon.

Nicole Van den Broek San Diego is a beautiful city. The streets are organised in a simple way so that you can find your way round in the city easily. Americans are open-minded and always ask you “How are you doing?”, which makes it easier from the start. In the weekend, it is very busy, the beaches invite you to swim and tan in the sun but also to go to the next city, Tijuana, in Mexico. My host family lived a stone’s throw from Downtown San Diego, which is a beautiful area. The family members were nice and often talked to me, which allowed me to improve my English. The teachers were funny and helpful. I am satisfied with the service offered by ESL, I am having a great time here!!!
