San Diego is a beautiful city. The streets are organised in a simple way so that you can find your way round in the city easily. Americans are open-minded and always ask you “How are you doing?”, which makes it easier from the start. In the weekend, it is very busy, the beaches invite you to swim and tan in the sun but also to go to the next city, Tijuana, in Mexico. My host family lived a stone’s throw from Downtown San Diego, which is a beautiful area. The family members were nice and often talked to me, which allowed me to improve my English. The teachers were funny and helpful. I am satisfied with the service offered by ESL, I am having a great time here!!!

8 months in San Diego and San Francisco – what more could you ask for? I’ve been living the American Dream for the past few months thanks to ESL’s advice and my excellent course. San Diego is perfect for a long language study stay. The weather is almost always great, the people are always cheerful and there is always something going on in town. The LSI language school made this stay unforgettable. I significantly improved thanks to great teachers and a great course. At the end of the course I did a 4 month internship at BMW in San Francisco. A placement in one of the most beautiful cities in the world at one of the best known companies in the world – truly amazing! The internship was perfect for practising and perfecting my English outside school. Thanks for everything ESL!
