Our partner school is located in the historic Old Town District, where the San Diego of today first took root. The Old Town Depot, just moments from the school, is the hub of all the town’s bus, trolley and train connections. The course centre has 8 classrooms, a student lounge with drinks machine and a small library. A reading room can be used outside of lessons, and you can access the Internet and your emails free of charge with the computers and WiFi connection available to students. If you decide to rent a car to explore the region, free parking is available just behind the school.

Accomodation

Host family
Host families are chosen with great care and are subject to regular checks. It is important that you feel at ease and enjoy a pleasant stay. You will become familiar with the culture of the USA and southern California, while practising your English on a daily basis. Families live in comfortable houses located in the suburbs of San Diego, about 20-50 minutes from the school by bus or train.

Leisure

Once classes are over, it’s time for sports such as volleyball, basketball or football. You can also meet with other students at a café, disco, or over a meal, for example. A weekend excursion is organised once per month, to destinations such as Mexico, the Santa Catalina Islands, San Francisco, Palm Springs or even Las Vegas. That way, you can discover the coast and the centre of California, as well as the mountains and the desert. San Diego also offers a broad program of sports and cultural activities. It’s famous zoo, SeaWorld, boat cruises, numerous museums and many other options will leave you with no time to get bored!
