Our partner school is housed in a modern building in the Embarcadero district, the business district of the city. A short distance from Union Square, surrounded by shops and restaurants, the language school in San Francisco benefits from a safe and practical environment. Established since 1991 in three cities in Canada, ILSC makes available its teaching experience and the availability of its teachers to its students in San Francisco. The 15 classrooms are spacious and bright, the library invites you to carry out individual work, the café of the course centre offers free Internet access and the possibility to have something to eat at any time and student lounges allow you to establish contact with the other international students.

Host family
One of the best ways of getting to know the lifestyle of the inhabitants of San Francisco is to share the daily life of a family. Selected with care by the language school, the host families propose accommodation in a single room with half board (breakfast only on request). You will share the bathroom and the common room with your hosts. The families live within a perimeter of approximately one hour by public transport from the course centre. Prolong your daily learning with informal conversations in a convivial environment for the best success!

Residence "Vantaggio Cosmo"
The Vantaggio Cosmo residence is located close to the shopping district of Union Square and only 15 minutes by public transport from the school. It occupies a superb building, which was renovated at the beginning of the 20th century, and includes 143 bedrooms. According to your choice, you will be able to stay in a single bedroom or else share with other students. The bedrooms include all the necessary comfort: a television, a telephone, a refrigerator, a microwave and tableware, a desk and free Internet access. In the residence, a computer room including a free WiFi connection is also available for your use. A sports hall, a common kitchen and a lounge area with television are amongst the facilities of the residence. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided and breakfast is served every morning. You will also have the use of a washing machine and each week, cleaning of the residence is carried out. The building is equipped with an active 24-hour surveillance system. Prices on request.

Residence Ansonia (from 18 years)
In the residence chosen by our partner school, close to Union Square, you will have the choice between a single or double room of standard comfort with a private bathrooom, a refrigerator, microwave and TV. A common kitchen allows you to prepare your meals and to get to know the other international students from the language school. The residence occupies the top floors of the Youth Hostel and the residents can participate in the activities organised by its staff. A paying laundry room, a large lounge with a biliards table and table football as well as a computer lab and a TV lounge complete the equipment. You will have Internet access throughout the building. The city also offers infinite shopping possibilities and fascinates with the numerous opportunities to discover its diverse populations by attending street parades, parties or festivals. Don't miss out on Alcatraz Island, with its history as much incredible as unknown! Hire a bike to cross the Golden Gate Bridge or go for a walk on the sand of the surrounding beaches.
