Our partner school makes use of the modern and prestigious facilities of the PLU University in Tacoma, located about 50 km south of Seattle’s centre. Just near numerous boutiques, cafés and restaurants, the school offers a modern and bright study environment in the heart of a green, 50-hectare campus. You can therefore take advantage of the university’s many facilities: a very nice cafeteria, first class infrastructure (auditorium, theatre, multi-sport room, golf, swimming pool etc.) and an animated campus lifestyle offering a wide choice of clubs, sports and cultural associations. It’s ideal for practising your English, discovering Seattle and meeting new friends among some 3,600 students on campus.

Accommodation

Host family
Staying with a host family is the best option for an active and effective immersion in the culture of your chosen country. You will have your own bedroom and half-board is provided. You will share the daily life and experiences of your host family while practising your English in the “real world”. 

Leisure

In addition to the wide choice of sports and cultural activities offered by the university campus, the school also proposes a program of social activities and excursions both within and outside of Seattle. You will have the chance to discover Seattle Centre and admire the spectacular view of the city, the lakes and neighbouring mountains. You can also visit Olympic National Park or the national park of Mt Ranier. Wine lovers will enjoy the proudly produced vintages of this active and surprising wine region.
