School

Our partner school benefits from its ideal and quiet location in a residential area. It is only a stone’s throw away from the Menlo Park Center and its restaurants, cafés and other shops. The Eurocentres school is also close to Stanford Shopping Center, the best place to go shopping outside of San Francisco, which is located 45 minutes away by taking the train Caltrain. The language school building has 12 modern and bright classrooms equipped with everything you need to be able to learn English under optimal conditions. There is a study room containing computers with free Internet access (as well as WiFi access) and a students’ lounge where you can relax and chat with your new international friends.

Accommodation

Host family
What better way to perfect your English and above all familiarise yourself with the local culture than by staying with a Californian family ? The host families are chosen with care, know the school well and live between 30 and 60 minutes away from the language school building. The students stay in single rooms and can choose between several options. Half-board with breakfast and an evening meal is ideal for building up contacts and familiarising yourself with the traditions and customs of the region. If you wish to have more independance, you can also opt to stay with a family where you can make your own meals.

The school also offers you exciting excursions  in the region, to Alcatraz, Disneyland, Las Vegas, Yosemite National Park and even Hawaii. On the sports scene you will be spoilt for choice, with golf, sailing, horseriding…without forgetting the various water sports activities. On the social scene, if you are looking for a night out, you can choose between going to the pub, going bowling or going to a disco…Silicon Valley and its surrounding region has so much to offer that you will never get bored !
