The Kaplan International Colleges school is situated at the heart of the city, near the George Washington University and the Dupont Circle subway station. You will therefore have easy access to the city's main attractions, historical monuments as well as museums, the White House and Capitol Hill. Nearby, you will also find several sports facilities, such as the Washington Sports Club, which has basketball and volleyball courts and an outdoor swimming pool. The language school building is modern and well-equipped and has 9 classrooms. The school also has a multimedia and IT centre with WiFi connection as well as a library. You will also find a student lounge, which is equipped with 2 microwaves and vending machines for drinks and snacks. After classes, you will be able to enjoy the rooftop patio or continue to practise your English with other students in one of the numerous surrounding cafés or lie out on the green grass of one of the district's parks.

Staying with a host family is the ideal option for discovering the American culture whilst practising your English on a daily basis. The families are selected with care and are situated around 40-60 minutes by bus away from the school. You will stay in a double or single room with half board provided. You will also share the lifestyle of your host family and will get to know their traditions and habits.

Residence "Pennsylvania House" (from 18 years)
For its students, our partner school also proposes accommodation in a student residence. Situated around 10 minutes away from the language school building, "Pennsylvania House" is also close to a small grocery store. You will stay in a double room and will share the bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, TV lounge and laundry room with the other students. The residence also has a WiFi connection and 24-hour security in operation. Prices and information on request.
