Our partner school is located in the centre of Amboise, only 5 minutes away from the shopping district with its small boutiques and terraced bars and bistros.The school has 7 classrooms as well as an independent study centre with videos, computers with free Internet access and a WiFi connection, a library, a piano room, a reading corner and an all-purpose room where students can go to study or relax after class.

Host family
One of the best ways to learn French is to immerse yourself fully in the French culture. Living with a host family in the Touraine region will allow you to get to know the local way of life, their customs and cuisine, and it is a truly enriching experience. It’s also a great opportunity to practise your French every day in an authentic context. The families are chosen with care and know the school well. Located around 15-20 minutes away from the school, you will stay in a single room and half board.

Residence «Foyer des jeunes travailleurs» (from 18 years)
The residence offered by our partner school is located in a modern building that includes a cafeteria with a bar and a reception area. In the single rooms, you will have the use of a private bathroom. There are Internet ready computers in the computer lab and in the common room, you can play snooker with the other international students. The bedlinen and towels are provided and you can do your personal laundry in a coin-operated launderette. The residence is situated in Ambroise’s town centre, 10 minutes’ walk from the school... just the perfect location to go out in the evening and explore the city and its surroundings during the weekend!

Our partner school in Amboise organises numerous sports, cultural and social events. Sports such as tennis, badminton, table tennis and canoeing are offered, but also outings to the theatre or the cinema. On Sunday mornings, you can enjoy the local market. Of course, you cannot miss out on  the numerous treasures of the region like the famous castles of the Loire, Chambord, Blois, Chenonceaux, etc. and don’t forget that you are just 2h15 from Paris and all it has to offer!
