School

The Institut Européen de Français Odyssea is housed in a 17th century hotel which has been completely renovated, in the heart of Montpellier's historic city centre. The school has 9 spacious and bright classrooms, thereby offering students all the comfort necessary for learning the French language. Students also have access to a resource centre where they will find authentic learning materials in the form of videos, audio material and even games. Free, unlimited internet access, including WiFi, is also available to students. Between lessons or when classes have finished for the day, students can use the vending machines within the school for snacks and drinks.

Intensive course

Daily schedule: 09:00–12:15 + 12:30–13:15 (Tue and Thu) +
13:30–15:00 (Mon, Wed and Fri)

Accommodation

Host family
If you really want to immerse yourself in the French culture then choose to stay with a French host family. You will have your own room and half-board is provided. The families are located around 20 minutes on foot or by public transport away from the school.

Shared apartments
Located around 20 minutes on foot or by public transport away from the school, these apartments generally accommodate two to three students who are looking for more independence. You will have your own room and share the kitchen, bathroom and living area with your flatmates. This is an inexpensive option that will allow you to meet other international students easily.

Being able to practise your new language skills is without doubt just as important as acquiring them in class. That is why our partner school offers numerous cultural activities. They will allow you to meet other foreign students whilst practising your French in a fun atmosphere. You can delight your taste buds by tasting the region's food and wines. You can also broaden your mind with the wonders of the area's heritage, the museums and the scenery that surrounds Montpellier. Why not also discover the French culture through its films, theatre or even opera? Culture can also be in league with sport during city visits with sports activities.
