Our partner school's course centre is situated at the centre of Sainte-Anne, within direct proximity of shops and banks, the post office, an Internet café and only a few streets away from the magnificent beaches lining a turquoise lagoon! The availability of the teachers and of the staff, the small size of the school and the classes in mini groups allow you to learn French in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. You will study in one of the 4 bright classrooms and there is a relaxing atmosphere. During breaks and after classes, you can go to the kitchen in order to chat with your new friends over a coffee. Apart from the scintillating beauty of the coastal regions, it is the whole fascinating heritage of the hinterland "Grands-Fonds" that our partner schools proposes for you to discover. This includes historical windmills, the peace and quiet of the valleys, the vegetation of the island's "attic" and the inestimable richness of the West-Indian culture...Bienvenue en Guadeloupe!

Host family
African Callaloo, French Cod Brandade or Indian Colombo...your stay with a host family in Guadeloupe has pleasant culinary surprises in store for you. It is also an excellent way to discover the local culture and to put into practice what you will have learned during your French classes in a relaxed way. Situated around 10-30 minutes away from the school, you will stay in a single room with half board. For those who wish to have more privacy, it is possible to request to have a private entrance and a private bathroom, at an additional cost.

Studio apartment
Our partner school has a certain number of apartments for private use, all located within a radius of 3km of the course centre (around 15-30 minutes by foot). This option allows you to live in complete independence. The apartments, in the style of a studio, are well-equipped, with bedlinen provided, a TV, bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette and a terrace or garden. The majority can accommodate two people, if you are travelling as a couple, with a friend or a member of your family.

With its numerous rivers, its waterfalls and its dream beaches, "the island of beautiful waters" of the Caribbean West-Indies is a real paradise for fans of water sports, hiking or lazing around beside the turquoise sea. Our partner school, "Media Langues Caraïbes", proposes numerous activities at preferential rates, including deep-sea diving, sea kayaking, mangrove exploration, surfing, windsurfing and catamaran outings. On the cultural side of things, you will have the possibility to participate in Creole cuisine, dance (salsa, traditional gwo-ka) or percussion classes. Allow yourself to be seduced by the thousand marvels of the butterfly island!
