Our partner school is siutated in a new building which has been entirely renovated at the heart of Vienna. You will enjoy very good learning conditions in a school with excellent facilities and air conditioning. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable. Students also have access to a multimedia centre, with Internet access, a WiFi connection and a library, to improve their learning after class and during breaks and after class, they can also go to relax and chat with their new friends in the common areas around the school or in the cafeteria. During the high season, extra premises, which are located just beside the main school building are used. The school is located near all of the main public transport lines and close to historical monuments.

Intensive course + work experience placement
Following an intensive course of a minimum of 4 weeks, it is possible to carry out an unpaid work experience placement.

German + Music
Lessons: 20 of 45 minutes + 1 of music of 45 minutes + 1-3 of theory (good level of German required)
Course duration: 4 to 48 weeks

Host family
One of the best ways to gain an insight into the Viennese and Austrian culture in general is to opt for accommodation with a host family during your stay in Vienna. In this way, you will be able to practise your German daily in an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. The host families are carefully selected by our partner school and generally live around 30 minutes away from the language school building. You will stay in a double or single room with half board or breakfast only provided.

Shared apartment
Students who wish to have more independence and share with other international students during their stay also have the option of staying in a shared apartment, which is located around 15 minutes away from the language school building. There are an average of 2 bedrooms per apartment and students stay in a double or single room without meals included. You will share a bathroom, kitchen and dining room with your flatmates.

Residence "Actilingua"
Actilingua acquired its own residence at the end of 2006. Located in the 11th Bezirk (district), around 10 minutes from the school by public transport and close to the Gasometer Shopping Centre, it has been entirely renovated in the Jugendstil, typical of Vienna. You can choose between a "Standard" or "Superior" apartment, with both types of apartments having a TV, radio and free WiFi connection.
With the "Standard" option, you will stay in an apartment of 60-75 m2, sharing with other international students. Staying in a double or single room, you will share the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. A cleaning service is carried out twice per week and bedlinen is provided.
If you opt for the "Superior" option, you will stay in your own apartment of 30-40 m2 with a private bathroom and toilet. The apartments are cleaned from Monday to Friday and bedlinen and bath towels are provided.

Most of the activities are included in the price and on the course programme, 5 periods per week are dedicated to cultural issues. Conferences, debates and video screenings concerning Vienna’s rich cultural heritage in relation to literature, music, history and architecture are scheduled, as well as guided visits to the city’s principal attractions. In addition, there will be parties and sporting activities.
