Language school Frankfurt, DID deutsch-institut

WiFi is free.

School

Our partner school has its premises in the heart of Sachsenhausen, one of the nicest districts of the city of Frankfurt. The DID school building has 7 large, comfortable classrooms. The study centre and multimedia room are available for your personal work. Internet access here is free, but also WiFi is available for those with their own computers. After classes, you can meet up and relax with your new friends over a hot drink in the cafeteria. Unless you prefer to go down to the banks of the Main, its palm-lined beaches and the beach volleyball courts.

Accommodation

Host family
You have chosen to discover German and you know very well that to learn a foreign language also means getting to know the culture associated with it. What could be more interesting then than to learn German outside of class with native speakers? Therefore, opt for a stay with a host family. Situated around 45 minutes away from the school, these families offer you a choice between a single and double room (to share with a friend or another student of the school). You will benefit from half-board and will share meals and a bathroom with the members of the family.

Leisure

Cultural Frankfurt ? Evidently, being the birthplace of Goethe and housing the excellent Städel museum. Unusual Frankfurt also, with the discovery of the city from the Commerzbank, the highest commercial tower in Europe. Exotic palm groves, a car factory, an airport and other curiosities, all to be discovered from 200m above the ground. Frankfurt belongs to the Rhine-Main agglomeration along with Aschaffenburg, Bavarian Nice, Darmstadt, « city of science », Mainz, ancient Roman town and Wiesbaden, thermal spa town. You won’t get bored in this region. At the weekend, you will be able to go on an excursion to Würzburg and its Residence, classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or Heidelberg, where you cannot miss out on seeing the ruins of the majestic romantic castle. This is a language study stay at the very heart of Europe and the German culture.
