Collegium Palatinum

Our partner school is located in the historic centre of Heidelberg, two minutes on foot from the “Bismarckplatz”, the bus and tram stops, and directly opposite the famous law university. The school is housed in a beautiful villa surrounded by a garden, and has 10 well equipped classrooms. To relax after class, you can take advantage of the student lounge on the ground floor, or meet your friends in one of the university’s restaurants.

Accomodation

Host family
Our partner school in Heidelberg carefully selects all the host families. Located about 20 minutes from the school, you will have your own room and share the common areas with the family members. You can choose between the half-board or breakfasts only options. Staying with a host family is an excellent opportunity to practise your German in a friendly atmosphere.
Residence
For students who desire more independence and who wish to meet other international students, our partner school offers accommodation in a residence. In either a single or double room, you will share the bathroom, kitchen and common areas with your flatmates. The residence is located three tram stops, or 15 minutes on foot, from the school. 

Leisure

Using German outside of the classroom, in a socio-cultural context, is a great way to develop on the language skills that you will acquire during your lessons. This is why our partner school offers students the chance to participate in a variety of activities and outings, some free or at reduced prices, both during the week and on weekends: tours of the historic town, the museum and chateau, evenings at the theatre and concerts. Sports such as tennis, squash, swimming, horse riding and golf are also on the program. Excursions are organised to enable your to discover other cities and the richness of the German culture: Michelstadt in Odenwald, the Roman cathedral of Spire, Frankfurt, Mannheim or Stuttgart.
