German school in Munich: DID deutsch-institut

Our DID partner school in Munich is housed in a typical building, right beside the central train station and only a stone's throw away from the main arterial street of the city. The insitute has 11 spacious and bright classrooms which can accommodate up to 15 students each. Students also have the leisure to work on their own in the library or the independent study centre. A multimedia room with 6 computers as well as an Internet café with 6 other computers offer you Internet access. In addition, the building is equipped with a WiFi connection. During breaks or after classes, you will be able to relax in the cafeteria or play a game of table tennis on the terrace.

Host family
You want to perfect your German, including outside of class? Therefore, what better way than to live with a family in Munich during your stay? Situated around 30 minutes away from the school, these families offer you accommodation in a single room with half board provided.

Private apartment (from 18 years)
For all those who wish to have more independence, our partner school proposes staying in private apartments. They are all situated at the heart of Munich, around 15 minutes away from the school by public transport and are all of a high standard. They each have a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. In addition, each apartment is equipped with a TV with satellite channels and a free WiFi connection.

Munich has so much to offer as a city that it is often difficult to know where to begin. For this reason, our partner school has put together an attractive activities programme for you, including visits to exhibitions at the "Pinakothek der Moderne", the discovery of the Nyphenburg castle, live sport with a visit to the grounds of "Bayern", rural walks in the English Garden, relaxing in the famous Hofbräuhaus brewery...The surroundings of Munich won't disappoint you either, with the possibility to go skiing in winter or go on excursions in the summer in the Bavarian Alps, to experience relaxing moments beside the Chiemsee, Ammersee or Starnberger See lakes or a fairytale visit to the Neuschwanstein Castle...And then, there is Augsburg, Regensburg or even Salzburg in neighbouring Austria… an unforgettable cultural and relaxation programme!
