Language school Florence, Eurocentres

Our partner school is the oldest language school recognised by the State in Florence. It is housed in a 17th century Renaissance-style building, in the very heart of the old town, close to the Ponte Vecchio and only a stone's throw away from the Piazza dei Pitti. Surrounded by restaurants and bars, and located in a typical district, the historic building of the school, renovated in 1992, has 11 well-equipped classrooms, a multimedia learning centre, a student lounge with a drinks vending machine and a WiFi connection. The school also has a nice balcony where students can relax under the sun which projects a distinctive light that one only sees in Tuscany.

Host family
It is possible to stay with a host family in a single room with half board provided. All of the families are carefully selected by the school. However, very few of them live in the historic centre and you will need to allow for 20-30 minutes by bus to get to the school.

Residence (from 18 years)
It is also possible to stay in a residence, in a single room, only 2 minutes away from the school. The residence is located in a renovated Renaissance building and has a large kitchen which students share as well as Internet access (paying). Each bedroom has a private bathroom, air-conditioning, a fridge and bedlinen and bath towels are changed once per week. In addition, a cleaning service is offered twice a week.

The school offers a range of activities, including drawing and painting courses, cooking courses, conferences, parties, film screenings and outdoor picnics. Excursions to the Cinque Terre coastline, Sienna, Pisa, Lucca, Assisi or San Gimignano are also available. You can see Florence by visiting museums or discover it as the birthplace of the Italian art de vivre. This city is an excellent place to live life to the full, whether it be in its bars and clubs, its little restaurants and cafés, or by taking an excursion to the Fiesole hills.
