Located right in the heart of the historic city of Ortygia, our Italian language school in Syracuse occupies a 15th century Sicilian building which has been completely restored while preserving its traditional interior courtyard. Offering optimal conditions for studying Italian, the Linguaviva school has 10 comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms that are equipped with audio and video material. The language school also has a computer room where students can access the Internet free of charge, a photo laboratory and a library with a painting workshop. The student lounge is a great place to relax during breaks or after your Italian lessons.

Accommodation

Shared apartments in Syracuse
Our language school in Syracuse offers you accommodation in a shared apartment with other students, located about 10 minutes’ walk from the school itself. Here, you will have your own room (or a double room if you are travelling with a friend) and share the kitchen and bathroom with your flatmates. Staying in a shared apartment is an ideal way to meet other international students and share with them the unique experience of learning Italian in the heart of Sicily. On a practical level, sheets and towels are provided and meals are not included. On request, it is also possible to stay in a private apartment (for 1 or 2 people).

The Linguaviva language school also offers numerous activities: outings to the theatre, museum tours, dinners in town, excursions to Palermo, the Aeolian Islands, not to forget Mt Etna, of course… If you are interesting in sport and adventure, the school also organises sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing, fishing, football and tennis matches.
