Host family
Staying with a host family is without doubt the best way to immerse yourself in the daily universe of the Japanese and to practise the language with native speakers. The families offer accommodation in a single room with half board provided. In order to get to the school, you will have to allow for a journey time of between 15 and 45 minutes which you can partly make by foot or by bicycle, by bus or by train, depending on the distance.

Leisure
The school organises activities that help familiarise you with Japanese language and culture. Visits and excursions are scheduled to discover the country’s historical and traditional sites. Visits to factories and companies are also programmed to show you other aspects of Japanese culture. The school organizes a range of social activities allowing you to meet other students and Japanese natives: cooking lessons; BBQs; demonstrations of the tea ceremony, kimonos, calligraphy and origami; and sporting activities.
