Our partner school is ideally situated at the heart of Tokyo, easily accessible with public transport from anywhere in the capital. This location allows you to explore the city with ease – from the school it takes only fifteen minutes to get to Shibuya or to the business and nightlife districts of Shinjuku or Ikebukuro. The language centre contains 11 modern and well-equipped classrooms and welcomes students of more than 35 different nationalities.

Accommodation
Host family
The school has carefully selected a network of host families ready to welcome international students. Students sleep in a single room with half board during the week and full board at the weekend provided. Japanese culture place great importance on hospitality. When a family receives someone, they do it well and are concerned for their guest. Therefore, do not be surprised if you are asked to return home at a specific time each evening. The families mainly live in the residential districts of Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama, around one hour's journey away from the school, which is a good average considering the size of the Japanesse capital. Please note: you will need to allow for around 18'000 yen per month for public transport costs between your accommodation and the school.
Guesthouse/Shared apartment
If you wish to be more independent, and for a minimum stay of one month, it is also possible to stay in a guesthouse or shared apartment in Tokyo. Prices and additional information on request.

After classes, go out and discover Tokyo, the largest agglomeration in the world, and allow yourself to be taken over by the magic of this city where everything is possible. You will always find, without any doubt, something to occupy your free time. Wander around Tokyo, from the Meiji Jingu shrine to the Ningyocho ('doll town') district, passing by the "Electric Town" of Akihabara or the elegance of the Imperial Palace...Whether you're a fan of Japanese culture, or thirsty for shopping and the latest gadgets, the city will be able to satisfy all your desires. Tokyo is one of the most lively entertainment places on the planet. The school GEOS Kudan is very well-located and allows students to easily get across the various districts of the city. In around fifteen minutes, you will be in the fashionable districts of Shibuya or Shinjuku or indeed in the district of Ikebukuro. Don't hesitate to head off on an excursion in the region. The surroundings of Tokyo offer an abundance of activities, from rock climbing on Mount Fuji, water sports and hiking in summer to ice-skating, skiing and snowboarding in winter. And if you really want to learn the Japanese way of life, don't forget the tea ceremony, flower arrangement, calligraphy or indeed to go to see a sumo match. If you are lucky enough to be in Tokyo at the arrival of spring, « O-Hanami » will be the very traditional occasion to have parties with your friends.
