In Bray, on the famous seaside promenade, which goes from the port to the southern extremity of the town, tourists smell the sea air before amusing themselves to the sound of the orchestras which attract passerbys into the pubs and restaurants. Numerous shops and boutiques captivate the walkers and give this small town a charm which is a tad mundane. The town leans against a hill formed by an enormous high rock from which you will have a fabulous view over Dublin Bay. Since the 19th century, Bray has been attracting tourists with its authentic character. Magnificent Victorian houses, witnesses of happy holidays, line the seafront and the possibilities to play golf, go horseriding and go sailing are excellent.
