The town of Canmore and Banff National Park, only 20 minutes' drive away, enjoy a splendid location in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. After the discovery of hot springs, Banff National Park was declared a protected area in 1885. Canmore, in the province of Alberta, is a peaceful little town, not at all invaded by tourists, with just a few restaurants, a café with Internet access and a grocery store.
